Josh Peck is coming to Salisbury University

Updated: Feb 6, 2020

For a good amount of our childhood, we laughed alongside the screen as two stepbrothers muddled through the struggles of high school, relationships and of course their pesky younger sister Megan.

Drake and Josh were just your average guys — part of what made the show so relatable and popular to viewers.

Most of us could not fathom getting any closer to the stars beyond the TV screen, but as the famous Drake and Josh theme song goes, “I found a way, I found a way,” Salisbury University’s Student Organization for Activity Planning found a way.

American actor, voice actor, comedian and social media personality Josh Peck, who is best known for his role of Josh Nichols in the Nickelodeon television series "Drake & Josh," is coming to SU Feb. 29 in Holloway Hall Auditorium at 7:30 p.m.

The night will consist of a moderated Q&A session in which students are encouraged to come forth with anything they are curious about regarding his acting career, YouTube ventures and comedic endeavors.

Audience members will have an opportunity to submit questions via index card throughout the show, and questions ahead of time can be emailed to SOAP@gulls.salisbury.edu.

Coordinator of Student Life Joe Benyish emphasized that the event as already provoked a lot of excitement around campus.

“I think people are really excited about it,” Benyish said. “It will likely be sold out soon. We’ve already sold about 500.”

The event is exclusive to SU students only. Tickets are available through SU’s website: salisbury.universitytickets.com

There will also be opportunities to win VIP upgrades by attending certain SOAP events to get meet and greet passes. Benyish recommends keeping up-to-date with SOAP’s social media accounts for new information.
