Softball splits doubleheader

The No. 6 Salisbury University softball team split doubleheader games against Frostburg State University at the SU Softball Field on Sunday afternoon on Senior Day.

Before the game, Salisbury honored three of its seniors who will close out their career this season: Rachel Johnson, Rebecca Hoey and Angela Malgieri.

The Sea Gulls (23-4, 11-3 CAC) took game one winning 8-0 in six innings. Senior Rachel Johnson pitched a complete game with 10 strikeouts and only allowing five hits.
